Basketball: Training Camps and Clinics

What’s the Difference Between a Camp vs. a Clinic?
While both offer valuable training, camps and clinics at RDE Sports serve different purposes.
Camps are typically multi-day programs that provide a well-rounded basketball experience. Usually over holiday breaks/summer, players will work on things like shooting and dribbling, advanced skills, team concepts, and game situations. Camps often include more scrimmages, competitions, and opportunities to apply what you’ve learned over multiple sessions.
Clinics, on the other hand, are shorter, more focused training sessions. With programming almost every day of the week, our sessions usually target one or two specific skills such as shooting form, footwork, or ball-handling under pressure. This allows players to dive deep into those areas. Clinics are perfect for fine-tuning techniques or addressing weaknesses without committing to a full multi-day schedule.
Why Should You Attend a Basketball Camp or Clinic in Denver, CO

Whether you join for off-season development or in-season skill sharpening, you’ll leave each session with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to perform your best.
What to Expect at an RDE Sports Camp or Clinic
At RDE Sports, our camps and clinics are designed to give players the tools, confidence, and experience they need to level up their game. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Experienced, Certified Coaching Staff – Our coaching team is made up of experienced, certified trainers who know how to teach the game at every level.
A Typical Day at Camp or Clinic – Each day is organized for maximum learning and fun. Athletes rotate through skill stations, work on drills, participate in contests, and scrimmage in live game situations. Some sessions also include off-court workshops on topics like sportsmanship, teamwork, and game IQ.
Low Camper-to-Coach Ratio – We keep our groups small so every player gets personalized feedback and attention. Whether a beginner or experienced athlete, every camper leaves with new skills and a plan for improvement.
What to Bring – Players should bring water, basketball shoes, athletic clothing, any personal gear, and snacks or a light lunch (depending on camp length).
