There are four levels of play in Colorado: Elite, Competitive, Developmental and Recreational. No one wins when an elite or top competitive team plays a developmental squad. Losses certain educate -- but experiencing consistent blowouts fosters little growth. On the flip side, elite teams gain very little from blowouts.. We decided to cater specifically to the developmental player or bronze level teams when we created the Development Division. Hopefully, this will improve the level of competition at the elite and competitive levels, while giving bronze level players a place to find their games. In the end, playing competitive games, not winning games, helps players lock in their skills, as well as mold their competitive mindset.
The Winter Season of the Development Division begins on Sunday, November 10. Your team will play 2 games each week on Sunday afternoon starting at 12 pm. All Games will be located at Redline Denver East, 4444 Forest, Denver Co 80238. Please contact Aaron Bradford at denvereast@redlineathletics.com with questions regarding the format and games.
The Development Division is for players looking to make the leap from rec ball to competitive play. Players can sign up as a free agent and be placed on a team coached by Redline Denver East, or one of the participating clubs programs. We have partnered with leading club programs that share our focus upon the development of confident basketball players. The Practice schedule will be set by each team and before the start of the season. .
Club Teams are invited to register their bronze level teams for the Development Division. As club organizers, it has become increasingly difficult to find competitive games for our beginners or bronze level players. By limiting this Division to Bronze level players, we hope to improve the level of competition in Gold and Silver Divisions of other tournaments and leauges, while providing a place for Bronze players to play close, competitive battles. .
The cost is $150 per player or $950 for a team of 10. The cost of the jersey will depend on the team that each player joins. Free Agents that join a Redline Team will receive a Redline Jersey at a one time cost of $75.

BUREAUCATS is a "Practice then Play" league for Boys & Girls in K-2nd Grade. Our professional coaches work with the players to learn basketball fundamentals such as ball handling, shot mechanics, scoring, rebounding, defense, passing and teamwork.
Each season, BUREAUCATS are assigned to teams of six and receive an awesome and unique jersey for game play. Each team is assigned a pro basketball coach that works with the players on the fundamentals for 45 minutes each week. Immediately after practice, the teams play five 3v3 games on an 8-minute clock. The games are super fun, fast and competitive. At the end of the season, the teams play a round-robin tournament. Season awards are shared at after the championship game.
BUREAUCATS run on Sundays, from 1230 to 200 at 4444 Forest, Denver CO. Parents can grab a workout at Redline while the players practice, and then watch the games.
The next season begins in January of 2025.
THE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION is the home for Bronze level players that are making the leap from recreational basketball to competitive club ball. Our goal is to reduce blowouts and increase the number of competitive games played.
The Division accepts club teams as well as free agents. We will form teams with the Free Agents, or we will place the Free Agents with teams with smaller rosters. The Division will provide coaching for the Free Agents, where as the clubs will provide the coaching for their teams.
